Mindful Painting

IMG_7342.jpeg

On the second and fourth Monday afternoons in St John's, Epping between 3.00 and 4.30 pm there is a chance to paint with watercolours, without any stress or tension, but to paint what you want to paint.

Some painting equipment is provided but it is preferable if you bring your own: water colour paper, a tin of water colour paints and a few brushes.

If you are so inclined I will be demonstrating in each session a watercolour.Painting and explaining my technique.

If you attend regularly you will find we would have covered an entire painting course: washes, lifting out, wet on wet, wet on dry, wet against wet, colour theory, composition, scale and proportion in the genre’s of landscape and seascape in particular.

Above all though it can be a time of personal ‘letting go’ and contemplation.
