All Saints Church is on the edge of Epping Upland, to the north west of Epping, Essex.  The 13th century church was the original church for the town of Epping and served as the mother church to the  Chapel of Ease which was built in the town until the end of the 19th century, when the Epping Act was passed, creating the separate Parish of St John the Baptist, served by the newly built parish church in the centre of Epping town.
